Week 4 post 2 : define target market

Target Market: Demographic-

“The Farm” batting center will be marketed to a multiple different markets as it appeals to large groups of baseball and softball players.  The different age ranges and social statuses are so diverse that it can not be for strictly one domain.  I want to appeal to the young kids that are just starting to play youth baseball and softball, the adults that are outside there prime to play college or professional baseball softball that just love the game still, and even the teenagers trying to get the position in high school ball or college ball and even the people trying for minors.  Because the farm is trying to apply to so many different arrays of people I want to keep it competitively priced but provide loyalty program to the ones that continue to patron the business, but not allow my market to depreciate to nothing.

 Target Market: Psychographic-

Since this company is based around the baseball/softball theme that gives a relaxed environment to help keep kids and adults still in love with the game, actively involved in the sport one way or another.  With that being said, the kids that are active in the youth sports market is a very large market for me, so they are well in shape and active.  The adults that patron my business will be a very large aspect because the people on the field can be anyone from the in shape person just out of college and or even the older class of adults that are just trying to stay active and playing the sport they love.
